Hello, my name is Gabriela and I am the designer behind kettme. Originally from the faraway lands of South America, I settled in Berlin in 2022 with my dog Patrick (our current CEO) and have found the city to be the perfect breeding ground for my creativity, finding inspiration in every corner where uniqueness is the main imprint.
kettme was born in a moment of stillness, a time of unemployment, uncertainty, and unexpected freedom. What started as a personal project to create accessories I wanted to wear quickly turned into something more meaningful: a mission to make chainmaille accessible, inclusive, and stylish for everyone.

At kettme, every piece begins with a single ring. That simple gesture of connecting one link to another became a symbol of resilience, creativity, and connection. It’s how this journey started, and it’s how every design gets developed.
Rooted in the idea of Verbindung (connection), like the connection I share with my beloved dog, kettme is for anyone and everyone, even dogs like Patrick. Each handcrafted piece is built to last and made to empower, no matter your background, identity, or style. Chainmaille doesn’t have to be niche or exclusive. At kettme, it’s reimagined as wearable art for modern life.
